Hey gang!

It is that time of year again. Time of course for assistants! Being that members of our directing staff will be leaving come May 1st, we need to start the process of hiring assistants who are interested in possibly becoming a part of the WIDR directing staff. We are looking for assistants for all 6 departments (Promotions, Music, Programming, Business, Production, and one for me as GM). We are looking for serious applicants who would like to work for one of the country’s best and up and coming independent radio stations! This is what you need to apply:

-Be a student of WMU (grad students can also apply)
-Be a serious lover of all music
-Have an open mind
-Be willing to work hard

You dont need to have worked with/for WIDR previously, but it is certainly a plus if you have. These assistantships do not guarnetee you a job on our directing staff, but if you are serious about the job, I would encourage considering taking an assistantship. It lets you job shadow and get your feet wet, and figure out a bit more about how WIDR works. You get to step into a 50+ year legacy of providing awesome music to an awesome community.
